[embed]http://youtu.be/GokQy-d6w2w[/embed]Please join us on Sunday, June 21 at 1 pm at the Brava Theater for a screening of the Sins Invalid documentary at Outside the Frame: Queers for Palestine Film Festival! When Sins Invalid withdrew from the Vancouver Queer Film Festival last summer because of concerns over their acceptance of pinkwashing funds, we were approached by this radical new festival which offers an alternative to mainstream apolitical gay film fests.Outside the Frame will present cutting edge films, as well as live events, that place the gay/lesbian agenda in the context of broader international movements for justice.  Outside the Frame brings together filmmakers and performance artists opposed to Israeli policies in Palestine and in protest of the pinkwashing of the SFLGBT film festival through the Israeli Consulate’s cash donations.ALSO:  Our Disability Justice for Palestine PSA will be opening the festival on Friday night, and Lisa Ganser & Nomy Lamm's animated short The Beginning Parts (animated by Lark Buckingham) is part of Saturday night's screening.  Every event looks incredible, and the whole festival is ***FREE!***Who: Queers for Palestine (www.quitpalestine.org)What: Outside the Frame Gay Film FestivalWhen: Friday-Sunday June 19-21Where:  Brava Theater, 2781 24th St. San Francisco, CA.Cost:  FreeOutside the Frame Queers for Palestine Film Festival: http://outsidetheframefest.org.  Progressive lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender films will be highlighted at Outside the Frame Film Festival, a radical alternative to the popular SF LGBT film festival.  Visit the Outside the Frame Facebook page here.
